While many know me as an architect who designs complex spaces and striking visual identities, at my core, I have always been a storyteller, using drawings and illustrations to bring the imaginary to life.
With over 30 years of experience in the creative industry, my journey began even before my degree in Architecture (1994) and was further solidified by a postgraduate degree in Graphic Design (2006). This dual background provides me with a unique toolkit: the technical precision of architecture—having designed spaces for global brands such as Hard Rock Café, Porto Seguro, and Mapfre—blended with the artistic sensitivity of someone who seeks the soul within every illustration.

My experience in the editorial market is defined by ambitious projects. I had the honor of being invited by author Fernando Carneiro to illustrate the book "A Tróia de Aquiles" (Achilles' Troy).
This project went beyond the printed page: during the book launch, the original illustrations were exhibited and sold at the Valu Oria Art Gallery in São Paulo, Brazil. This validated the aesthetic strength and collectible value of my work, a standard of quality that I now bring to my explorations in Web3.

When illustrating for children and young adults, I offer a distinct perspective:
Spatial Mastery: I create environments with depth and perspective that leap off the page—a direct result of my architectural training and practice.
Geometric Abstraction: A unique style of portraiture and synthesis of form, blending concrete geometry with Cubist abstraction. By deconstructing subjects into overlapping planes and diagonal lines—and employing Constructivist rigor with a focus on light and shadow—I give both digital and traditional paintings a sculptural, three-dimensional presence.
Visual Narrative: I apply the strategic vision of someone who has built visual identities for major brands, communicating ideas in a clear, engaging, and playful manner.
Innovation: Bridging the gap from traditional strokes to digital art, I connect design to the Web3 universe through NFTs and digital assets.

Currently, as Creative Director at Azevedo Marques Arquitetura, I continue to develop projects that harmonize function and design. I believe that art builds an entire universe where the reader wants to live and experience a range of emotions.
Whether bringing a character to life, illustrating a book cover, or exploring the possibilities of art on the blockchain, I am always ready for new opportunities.
