The Extremity | Cover Art & Concept
The Concept Deeply rooted in the dreamlike and metaphysical atmosphere of Vertigo Comics and the storytelling of Neil Gaiman, "The Extremity" explores the boundaries of the human psyche. The artwork aims to capture the precise moment when consciousness fractures, turning pain and revelation into something visually tactile.
The Process The piece was fully developed using acrylic on paper, prioritizing the raw gestures and textures that only traditional media can offer. The layering of colors and the intervention of "solid light" (the cracks) illustrate the central themes: Cerebral Fracture, Neural Bloom, and The Glass Mind.
